Truth, Lies, and the Questions in Between

Truth Lies Questions_PG_222-223.jpgMUSIC

I love quoting music in my narratives as atmospheric reveals of my characters, setting, and era.   Throughout this story, songs inspire, prod questions, and open up Patty and Simone to one another, just as they did with real-life youth.

To get readers in the mood and immerse them in the time period of Truth, Lies, and the Questions in Between, I’ve created a Spotify playlist of some of the best music of the late ‘60s to 1973—everything from Carole King to Jethro Tull to Stevie Wonder.
