Hamilton and Peggy: A Revolutionary Friendship
These are general information links about the Schuyler Mansion in Albany, their Saratoga country estate, the Revolution, women during the war, AND the exquisite letters Hamilton, Schuyler, and their circle wrote one another. For specifics on individuals, see Major Players and Supporting Characters.
You can hear me speak more about HAMILTON AND PEGGY and read two separate sections from the novel here:
Educational Information About the American Revolution
Yale Professor Lecture Series on the American Revolution: This is an incredible gift. Often interviewed for programs on Alexander Hamilton, Professor Joanne B. Freeman has posted clips of her intro course to the Revolutionary War. It is a wonderful, fascinating semester of hour-long class presentations: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDA2BC5E785D495AB. Freeman is funny and personable, her excitement infectious.
