The Duomo Bells

Florence rings with the sound of bells. The relatively small city is packed with churches--from the magnificent cathedral in the city's center to tiny family chapels crammed into back streets. So at certain times of the day, no matter where you are, you are bound to hear bells ringing. It is a simple and beautiful reminder of Florence's rich history, past, and devotion to lifting the human spirit--and one of my favorite things about Florence!
