Valentine's Day

The ever-wonderful ReadingRockets.org is again featuring its delightful, creative ideas for teaching poetry and creative writing through making Valentine's Day cards, kindly including my picture book, A String of Hearts.

It's a particularly special treat to see our sweet old lab, Raven, listening so attentively to my reading aloud. She was such the patient, gentle soul, even putting up with wearing a garland of hearts. We all miss her! Happy Valentine's Day to everyone, especially those loving labs!
