NEW COVER for DA VINCI'S TIGER

I am excited to share the news that HarperCollins' talented art department has redesigned the cover for DA VINCI'S TIGER. I loved the original conceptual design--of a young woman representing Leonardo's Ginevra de'Benci, encased within a tiger silhouette. (The novel's title comes from her one remaining line of poetry: I beg your pardon, I am a mountain tiger.) But this new cover has such rich colors and authentic costuming, it is far more evocative of the Renaissance and its sumptuous art. The model also exudes the real-life Ginevra's poised elegance and strength of character--a perfect hint of the qualities that made her a muse to politicians and artists alike, and the many challenges she faces within the novel to find and keep her own voice.
